Welcome to Show Stopper Schnauzers!  My name is Barbara, and along with my daughter, Courtney, we are in love with the Miniature Schnauzer!  We are not a kennel as our dogs are raised in the home with us and our puppies are also raised inside with our families.

We fell in love with the Miniature Schnauzers several years ago when my daughter met her soon-to-be husband and he came as a package deal with two Schnauzers he had rescued.  The dogs were so sweet and lovable with the bonus of NO SHEDDING, almost NO DANDER and extreme intelligence that we were soon head over heals in love with them.  Still not certain if she married for the guy or the dogs (well hopefully both!).

My dad raised Poodles and Maltese for many years and I gleaned a world of experience in raising dogs during this time.  I not only learned about proper breeding practice, but also the care, treatment and record keeping.  It has always been my dream - now shared by my daughter - to be able to raise Schnauzers.  Finally! We are making that dream come true.

We hope to make your dreams come true as well by providing you with a loving, entertaining companion that will bring you years of enjoyment.

We take our responsibility to the Breed very seriously and are selecting our litter dam/sire to provide the best possible specimen with the best possible temperament.  We offer the standard AKC Mini size and colors of black, black/silver, s/p and also the Toy Size in Liver (chocolate) and liver parti.  We plan to expand our line to include the black parti and maybe the liver/tan.  Still, our first love is the standard size and the three colors recognized in the AKC show ring.
